Customs and traditions are still part of daily life in the Sarentino valley today. You can see the Sarner Kirchtag, a typical festival that takes place on the first weekend in September, or visit one of the many farmers' markets. The Rohrerhaus in Sarentino - an old farmhouse that has been converted to a museum - is worth a visit as well. As a souvenir you can take along a "Sarner Jangger", a cardigan in thick wool that you knit yourself.
